Executive Job Description	A Senior member of the management team within Merchandise Planning Solutions, you will be responsible for the management and architecture of software development projects while ensuring attainment of departmental and company targets and objectives. THe position is located in Middleton,MA. You will also coordinate projects to ensure that the most appropriate company technology is being applied and participate in development projects as needed and as time permits. Included in your duties will be exercising sound judgment in project implementation; determining resource needs; providing technical leadership as needed; organizing and prioritizing projects in order to achieve assigned goals; encouraging and fostering individual professional growth and teamwork among project staff; and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field •5 years of programming experience in an applications development environment •Demonstrated experience with core Java and J2EE •Demonstrated experience C and C++ •Experience with databases •Experience with application servers •Experience with scripting and the unix operating system Additional •Expertise with web application servers •Strong organizational and project management skills •Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills •Excellent written and verbal communication Preferences •8 years of programming experience in an applications development environment •Experience with Oracle/MySql •Experience with Weblogic/Websphere •Expertise with SAS products and SAS web reporting tools •Knowledge of workings of JSF, Hibernate, and Spring technologies •Outstanding written and verbal communication skills •Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects for a diverse audience •Proven success working in a collaborative and virtual team environment •Proven success of taking something from a request, through design and analysis, all the way to implementation •Domain knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Retail Planning needs Saalry is in the 120-130000 range.
