QUALIFICATIONS: Strong analytical &technical background Research skills to develop predictive models IT skills to directly access data repositories Experience &Educational Qualifications A minimum of 8 to 10 years of management experience in Data Analytics Expertise in Data Analytics &Predictive Modeling techniques Graduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics from a reputable university is preferred Experience in financial services and insurance organizations preferred - retail and manufacturing considered CAS Fellow or Associate preferred CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Our client, a nationally known financial services and insurance organization, is seeking an individual to fill a leadership position that will be responsible for providing Data Analytics support for all segments of a mission critical business function. This position is part of an IT organization that is responsible for warehousing data, creating data marts, generating operational reports &Score Cards, and providing analytical support to all levels of the organization. The right individual should have strong analytical background as well as significant leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management. This position will manage a team of full-time technical resources. Qualified candidate should be a strategic and creative thinker with a strong ability to connect strategic initiatives to metrics in such a way as to use them to steer operational strategies to yield favorable business results. Interested candidates should be able to provide specific examples of applying metrics to initiatives in order to provide clear value to the operational strategies of an organization.
