Position Summary MS Dynamics CRM Practice Manager with enterprise project experience, responsible for directing pre/post-sales technologists, solution architects, and implementation specialists. This is a leadership position responsible for organizing and motivating a technical workgroup delivering on project and utilization goals. This role also assists in the development of standard best practices, procedures, and strategies. Management responsibilities include managing employee job performance through direct observation, coaching, counseling, and motivation. This role assists with recruiting in order to support growing and driving the practice’s business. This role is highly involved in ensuring ongoing training for team members and collaborates with sales and delivery teams to ensure the timely execution of project milestones.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare functional specifications from which applications can be written Drive requirements gathering phase to ensure streamlined project delivery for implementation projects Present and explain software solutions providing on-site demonstrations to prospective customers Provide recommendations for process improvements Work with implementation teams to provide advanced expertise of system technologies Participate in the pre-sales process by assisting sales and marketing with proposals for prospective customers Participate in the training of new team members Track implementation project best practices and provide guidance on increasing effectiveness Assist with other programs as assigned by management
Education and/or Experience B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Engineering or similar related degree M.S. degree highly preferred 6+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of large complex enterprise applications
Skills/Specialized Knowledge 6+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation CRM applications, preferred: MS Dynamics CRM experience. Would consider comparable CRM enterprise application product experience (Oracle, Siebel, Salesforce, etc,) MBS Certified Professional - Dynamics CRM 4.0: Application; Installation and Configuration; Customization. Strong technical background working with Microsoft .NET technologies, including: Visual Studio.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Server, XML, and Web Services Must have full life cycle production experience on .Net and have participated in complete SDLC for applications based on Microsoft .NET technologies Working knowledge of database design and commercial tools for database integration with .NET framework Knowledge of technology consulting practices and methodologies Interest in 'hands-on' delivery of consulting projects Pre- and post-sales experience (proposal development, participation in sales calls) Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to develop and deliver presentations and participate in and facilitate group meetings. Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills, research and analytical skills. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, and copier Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to present to ‘C’ level and executive staff Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical and accounting functions Ability to read and comprehend financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, general ledgers, budgets, etc Ability to provide accurate estimates for projects, based on client-provided technical and functional requirements Ability to multi-task Ability to make quick and effective decisions Ability to analyze and resolve problems Ability to negotiate, influence and gain consensus Ability to successfully delegate Ability to conduct interviews Ability to manage team members and drive performance management Ability to set and meet goals Ability to consistently meet deadlines Ability to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to drive an automobile
