Executive Job Description | Duties: 1) You will lead the architecture and development and staff mentorship in the development of high volume Mercury Network - mission critical systems for internal and external users. 2) Still being hands on, do analysis, design, implementation within a Java, J2EE 5/6. JPA/ORM, MySQL, SQL Server, ASP.Net, C# web services environment. A lot of their systems are built in Java, My/SQL 3) Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior staff. 4) Interface with BAs, DBAs and other IT groups, including users to get the job done.
Required:
Must have 3 to5+ years application Web Services development (no packages) out of a Java, J2EE 5/6, SDLC, high volume mission critical environment. Must be expert level in Java and still hands on.
Must have expertise in JPA/ORM preferably Hibernate/HQL or Spring.
Must have MySQL development including Stored Procedures, Views, Optimization.
Must have Web development specifically Java Server, ideally with Faces/IceFaces.
Must have Unix/Linux.
Must have experience with JMS queues, ideally ActiveMQ.
Must have lead experience with mentorship.
Must know Agile, Iterative or similar, as Waterfall
Must come out of mission critical, high volume environment
Must have written JBoss 5.1.0.
Must have some development in Microsoft SQL Server, .NET using C# or CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Ajax.
Must have STRONG communication skills.
Must have STRONG ability to develop high-quality applications with reduced time lines.
Pluses: change management, building software with Apache Maven, mobile development using iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms, developing applications with Payment Card industry (PCI) requirements, Enterprise Service Bus-preferably ServiceMix
