Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Ownership of the enterprise infrastructure to include staff, strategy, hardware, software, budgets, and overall Information Technology infrastructure operations; (2) Acting as the primary “face” to the stakeholder community and other IT departmental groups with regards to personal computing, service desk, networking, telecom, security, computing performance, stability and service level agreements, and evolution; (3) Providing technical knowledge transfer and leadership to staff in the role of an infrastructure subject matter expert and coach; (4) Coaching, mentoring, staff development, and succession planning; (5) Evaluating emerging technologies; (6) Evaluating, selecting, negotiating, and relationship building existing and potential vendors, business partners, and service providers; (7)
Overseeing all projects and initiatives and ensuring that they are successful and adequately documented; (8) Designing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing metrics and policies and procedures focused on proactive and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED:
MUST have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar.
MUST have 15+ years of infrastructure experience in complex, multiple platform environments.
MUST have 5+ years of formal infrastructure staff, hardware, software, budget, project management with an enterprise including data centers, telecom call centers, and multiple locations.
MUST currently be in a role as a manager or director of infrastructure.
MUST have STRONG technical experience with: Microsoft NOS, UNIX, VMWare, CISCO, NetApp, ITIL.
MUST have exceptional communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, and relationship building skills.
MUST be very persuasive and have strong ability to influence executive leaders towards the appropriate outcome.
MUST come from an IT organization of at least 50 IT employees with at least 4 direct reports.
