Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Oversight and management of corporate enterprise mission critical infrastructure projects; (2) Hands on technical enterprise infrastructure support; (3) Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and supporting a wide range of infrastructure components; (4) Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with a keen eye for exceeding end user expectations and deliverable commitments; (5) Providing clear and accurate project reporting to all necessary parties including executive management; (6) Project managing resources, initiatives, and coordinating resources of other groups and subgroups involved in project initiatives; (7) Providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and acting as a resident SME in emerging and new infrastructure technologies, services, vendors, etc. with a focus on improving the organizational business model through more efficient/effective computing technology or more efficient/effective business process; (8) Managing the infrastructure maintenance to include alignment with regulations, contracts and licensing agreements; (9) Developing and maintaining process, procedures, workflow, and accurate documentation for all aspects of technology implementation and operation; (10) Working with management to establish technical standards and procedures; (11) Providing third level technical support; (12) Consistent and accurate monitoring of the enterprise, ensuring that technical issues root cause are identified, and solved as effectively and efficiently as possible.
REQUIRED:
5 years or more of STRONG/CURRENT expert level enterprise level IT INFRASTRUCTURE technology evaluation, planning, implementation, and hands on 3rd level technical support in the following environment: (1) Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008; (2) Microsoft Exchange; (3) Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS; (4) Cisco or Checkpoint; (5) Network and VPN routing.
MUST have 3 years of STRONG/CURRENT SAN/NAS configuration, supporting, maintaining in a mission critical, enterprise environment.
MUST have 1 or more years of STRONG/CURRENT project management of technical infrastructure projects.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT experience in creating new infrastructure architectural models and helping create future infrastructure designs, vision, and requirements.
MUST have EXPERT level technical experience with networks, network topologies, network file servers, applicable software, and troubleshooting techniques.
MUST have EXCELLENT communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT experience with a focus on INFRASTRUCTURE: (1) Conducting feasibility studies; (2) Developing client proposals including cost/time/resource estimates; (3) Preparing statistical reports and complete cost/benefit analysis.
Pluses: Undergraduate degree of a technical nature (i.e. Computer Science or Computer Engineering, etc.). Cisco or Checkpoint certification.
