Information Security – System Engineer - TECH#647
EMPLOYER:
Executive Office Services is privileged to partner with a major communication company that is in need of a qualified candidate to lead the IT/Technology – Information Security Systems
LOCATION:
Nevada
QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year technical degree required
10+ years applicable work experience
Computer security concepts: CIA, defense-in-depth, PKI, VPN, etc.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking principles
Must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents
Must know LMR extensively and have at least 6yrs experience in LMR
Solid understanding of security controls for UNIX and Windows operating systems
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understand Land Mobile Radio systems to perform functionality testing
- Professional certifications (e.g. CISSP or CompTIA Security+ ) are a plus
- Knowledge of VoIP systems
CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
Major Communications Company needs qualified candidates to be considered to lead the Information Assurance team to implement IA products for LMR wireless customer systems. He/she will install onto customer servers and test functionality; provide feedback to Engineering to revise IA products; work with accrediting agencies for lockdown, verifications, interpret and report findings, and then assure implementation of resolutions to the issue findings.
