Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as a technology evangelist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all strategic, tactical, operational, and support issues related to enterprise data architecture; (2) Defining, championing, monitoring, and enforcing all data architectural strategies, visions, standards, policies, programs, procedures, etc. for all data, databases, data warehouses, data security, and issues concerning product development tool sets; (3) Evaluating, designing, developing, and guiding the evolution of the enterprise data framework, governance, and present and future roadmap for the overall product lifecycle roadmap and organization to follow; (4) Working intimately with all internal and external groups in planning, designing/architecting, developing, implementing, and enhancing current and existing product features and functionality as it regards its relevancy to all things “data”; (5) Providing high level and low level analysis, design, knowledge transfer and education, maintenance, performance tuning and optimization, documentation, and implementation of enterprise class logical data models and physical database objects; (6) Monitoring, overseeing, and ensuring that the necessary quality, security, privacy, and integrity of data throughout the product lifecycle exists and continues to remain viable as products evolve from cradle to grave; (7) Evaluating all products, vendors, and business partners with concern to evolving data technologies and changes within the overall technology marketplace; (8) Serving as the corporate and product physical face and evangelist for all current and future data strategy, operations, and tactical direction.
REQUIRED:
MUST be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Evangelist on enterprise data , data modeling, database, data warehousing, data normalization, data architecture, data security, Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting, SQL, OLTP, OLAP, data and database operations, etc. with at least 10 years of high level and low level experience in these advanced data areas.
MUST have DEEP experience in Service Oriented Architecture for high volume applications and systems with particular focus on MICROSOFT (.NET, ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server 2005/2008) CLOUD and commercial grade web applications.
MUST have exceptional data knowledge foundation that is both high level (conceptual and strategy and planning) and low level (technical).
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT experience with data security, physical database schema design, data performance and optimization, high availability systems and products, product scaling as it relates to distributed database systems.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT project management skills.
MUST have EXCELLENT communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organization, documentation, and presentation skills (to executive level staff and to large groups) where is very good at leading, persuading, and gaining consensus from very diverse audiences.
