Executive Job Description | The Business Systems and Processes department maximizes efficiency and adds value to our operations. We are in need of a highly talented Senior ETL/Data Warehouse developer to design and implement a data warehouse for the group. This position will include all phases in developing a data warehouse including requirements gathering, data warehouse design, logical modeling, data acquisition design, development, testing and deployment. This Otter will require strong systems knowledge and a depth of experience .
5-7 years of experience** As an IT Engineer with the following abilities and skills:
Work collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to implement and test a data warehouse
- Translate business requirements into technical designs
- Demonstrate an understanding of concepts, best practices and functions to implement a data warehouse in a corporate environment
- Design and implement all aspects of a data warehouse
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues with overall infrastructure
- Write advanced PL/SQL programs (performance tuning, packages, triggers, exceptions, collections, etc.)
- Develop maintainable, high performing ETL processes
- Analyze source data and create staging designs and dimensional data models
- Create data model utilizing data modeling tools

What You Need (but not limited to):
- 4 year college degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
- 4-6 years of experience working in an Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS production data warehouse environment as a Data Warehouse developer
- 3-5 years of experience of data modeling using data modeling tools such as Erwin, SQL Developer Data Modeler, etc.
- 4-6 years of experience designing and implementing ETL processes utilizing tools such as SSIS, Talend ETL, etc.
- 4-6 years of experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases (10g or higher preferred) and expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming and performance tuning
- Expertise in developing star schemas (dimensions, facts and measures)
- Experience in an Agile SCRUM environment preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong technical problem solving skills
- Highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
