DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MARKETING –ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE ( CLINICAL SOFTWARE)

My client is a leading developer of software solutions for the life sciences industry. They have a very strong existing client base (Global Pharma) and have consistently over-achieved targets. This is a stable leader in the industry with a proven track record and consistent growth yr over yr.

Responsibilities:
- Research, define, and document core product marketing components including product definition, positioning, value propositions, pricing, key features & benefits, SWOT, etc.
- Establish process for consistent competitive intelligence gathering and knowledge transfer
- Educate and communicate industry specific trends and regulatory influence to internal teams for product and program enhancement
- Gain a clear understanding of customer wants and needs through standard channels and successfully work with internal teams to translate these to product requirements and enhancements
- Create regular product content for variety of audiences and applications including website, lead generation programs, conferences, blogs, articles, presentations, white papers, and program support
- Development and execution of product sales support materials including collateral, sales training, product demos, & scripts, data sheets, pricing sheets, partner tools, etc.
- Consistent travel to staff and attend industry conferences and events
- Work with cross functional teams to successfully plan and execute product launches and introductions
- Cultivate customer references
Skills/Requirements:
- Keen domain expertise in life sciences a must
- Software or technology industry experience in a startup or high growth technology company desired
- Campaign and vendor management when necessary
- Passion for gaining insights into customer needs, and translating those needs into effective product marketing and creative content and programs
Compensation:
80-120k Base Salary (negotiable on background)
