Executive Job Description | Duties: You will be responsible for: (1) Leading four person team; (2) Managing a complex database environment; (3) Bringing production to the next level and driving strategies and deliveries; (4) Supporting daily operations, installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, tuning, capacity planning and performance testing; (5) Interfacing with users and developing their requirements and interfacing with application staff; (6) Dealing with database code and structures; (7) Overseeing database systems from security, quality and disaster recovery planning and testing standpoint; (8) Interfacing with vendors; (9) Doing long and short range planning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, security analysis and reporting.
Required:
Must have 6 years Enterprise Oracle DBA in a Linux environment.
Must be a 10/10 in Oracle 10G/11G.
Must be STRONG with Rman, replication, OLTP, data warehouse concepts and strategies, datamining, database design, performance and tuning and OEM.
