Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to network infrastructure as part of an elite infrastructure team; (2) Evaluating, implementing, and providing world class enterprise infrastructure support on a wide variety of advanced technologies; (3)
Acting in a leadership capacity as a hands on technical leader and/or project leader and/or project manager in implementing advanced infrastructure elements across the enterprise; (4) Monitoring, managing, and performing high level and low level technical maintenance and support of an advanced enterprise infrastructure; (5) Monitoring and managing compatibility and compliance with internal and external policy, process, and procedures as well as oversight and management of contracts and licensing agreements; (6) Ensuring that accurate and effective documentation exists for all policy, procedures, as well as all aspects of installations and operation; (7) Providing technical SME leadership on a high level and low level basis both in strategy, evaluation, implementation and support of advanced enterprise infrastructure technology; (8) Advanced technical analysis and troubleshooting through resolution of sophisticated and advanced technical issues; (9) Providing knowledge transfer to other team members and less experienced staff on a proactive and collaborative basis.
REQUIRED:
5 years of STRONG/CURRENT enterprise level CISCO router (wired/wireless) and switching operations to include configuration, reconfiguration, monitoring, troubleshooting, support, etc.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT experience with monitoring/planning as it relates to performance and capacity.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT VPN and IPv6 configuration and support experience.
MUST have secondary operations monitoring, troubleshooting, and support with infrastructure components such as servers, network topologies, etc.
MUST have at least 1 year of leading technical projects and initiatives.
MUST have excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
MUST have the ability to conduct and prepare feasibility studies, develop stakeholder proposals (i.e. estimates for costs, time, resources), preparing statistical reports, and complete cost/benefit analysis.
