Job Description:
* Position: Pre-Sales Engineer Location: California * This position will report to the VP Sales and drive sales initiatives with customers while supporting strategic partners. * This is a high-visibility role working directly with customers, partners, and prospects, supporting sales efforts with a focus on large F500 size accounts.
Responsibilities
* Effectively present solution value proposition, demonstrate and implement software * Identify, log and track technical issues * Project manage and lead POC and Pilot customer engagements * Communicate effectively with account team(s) and other internal resources, as well as with partners and end-customers * Represent client at seminars and tradeshows * Lead product demonstrations and presentations * Deploy and support customers
Experience Required:
* 6+ years of system, network, or storage administration with experience in server virtualization preferably as a field applications engineer supporting sales to OEMs and end users * Understanding of Server virtualization technologies, VMware, Citrix/Xen, Microsoft, Sun * Experience with software APIs * Understanding of the infrastructure components and customer management / roles (operations, infrastructure, engineering) in an enterprise data center environment * Extensive hands-on experience configuring, installing, deploying, managing and supporting operating system, network, and storage management tools and applications * US Citizen or Permanent Residents Only
