Executive Job Description
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will lead the efforts to manage and grow all lines of business for the company, including retail (sightseeing, casino, and airport), charter and contract products. Responsibilities will include preparation of sales budgets including profitability, assessing company prospects for future sales growth, annual sales, revenue, and profit goals. The incumbent will also provide leadership to the business development function of the company. This role will be accountable for achieving the periodic revenue goals of the company, and for developing sales plans to achieve these goals. This role will be responsible for the coaching, development and training of employees who work in these functional areas, and the creation and implementation of a sales process management system.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the transportation or hospitality industry preferred as a direct contributor with a demonstrable track record, and in team leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess background in the transportation or hospitality industries; demonstrated competency in tactical and strategic selling and sales leadership; and completion of a formal sales training program. Previous experience in advertising and pricing a plus.

• Establish credibility as a source of trustworthy advice
• Demonstrate excellence in client service
• Develop a consultative, rather than transaction-oriented approach towards clients and prospects
• Develop sales strategies and tactics that implement the Company business plan
• Possess strong entrepreneurial drive and the desire to build a business
• Possess strong people and soft skills such as relationship building, client management, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage and motivate staff
• Facilitate the sales process by improving Company presentations and coordinating response to RFPs
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
 Master’s degree preferred
 Computer literate, facile knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar applications
