Executive Job Description | Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities to drive successful continued growth of a new retail-driven durable consumer product line. Provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's defined strategic business objectives. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the defined industry and contributes to the development of programs for potential customer.
* Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability * Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed * Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin * Bring a sense of urgency to situations, demonstrate an active approach, be willing to get involved in order to increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives * Develop and execute key account strategies to accomplish annual business objectives * Provide leadership and strategic direction to the new product development project team * Transfer core project team objectives into measurable sales objectives * Develop and facilitate cross-functional internal working relationships to establish a support structure assuring seamless product to market * Identify, integrate and manage Manufacturer Rep Groups * Work with Buying Groups, as required, to achieve objectives
Requirements
* 10+ years experience in a sales management capacity working with consumer durable goods * Extensive experience and success working with Big Box stores, especially, Lowe's, Home Depot * Experience working with Manufacturer Rep Agencies and Buying Groups * Ability to develop and execute a viable sales plan for a new product launch |
