Executive Job Description | Sales Manager- can be located anywhere in USA-Life Sciences Discovery Research Provider Job Description: Pro-actively identify, maintain and grow customer accounts by understanding customer's needs, meeting sales targets and using internal resources to effectively execute timely solution. Present and sell company products and services to potential clients. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as planned. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge with the help from India team. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Identify and resolve client concerns. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals/sales targets. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Develop and implement special sales activities to increase sales Prospect and interact with lead prospects for product demonstration, techno commercial discussions and sales closing Organize and conduct training, technical, sales visits or online sessions for the purpose of helping customers understand the products Act as a strong support person for the software and services Attend and present technology at relevant conferences, seminars, technical and trade meets Payment collection Knowledge and Skill requirements:
Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations, Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. Work requires significant local travel. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel. Masters Degree in Scientific, Engineering, or a business related field is preferred 4 to 5 years of sales or marketing experience.
