Executive Job Description | Sales Director (Broadband, Cable & Satellite Division)

As the Sales Director you will be responsible for building strong relationships in all levels of the account, identifying opportunities where Amdocs can add value, and closing on deals that solidify Amdocs commitment and partnership with Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications.

Glimpse of Responsibilities and Abilities •Build strong relationships with C-Level and below •Show deep industry knowledge that proves our ability to support our PayTV Service Provider customers •Use existing relationships to bring Amdocs to the table •Identify opportunities that align Amdocs with the goals of our customer •Maintain a solid pipeline of opportunities to support growth of both our customer and Amdocs •Work with other Amdocs experts to build credible proposals, demonstrations, and presentations •Close on opportunities that generate value for our customer and Amdocs beginning in 2010
Preferences •Strong domain knowledge in multi-play BSS and OSS a plus, but not required
Requirements •Broadband and Cable TV industry expertise •10+ years of successful Sales experience including new logo development •Good relationships with key people in the industry (Cox, Time Warner Cable, etc.) •Proven ability to coordinate a global team to provide proposals that win •Strong domain knowledge in emerging technologies that affect the Pay TV market •Excellent communication skills (written and oral) •Must be able to travel 50% to 75%
