This is an individual contributor, direct selling position. There will be opportunities to move up as the company expands. Duties • Close sales of the company’s product to marketers • Meet or exceed plan targets • Develop new accounts, through hands_on tactics • Handle all aspects of selling: lead generation, lead qualification, sales communication, meetings, objections_handling and closing • Work closely with our in_house marketing to reduce the sales cycle and increase effectiveness of this sales role • Call on customers that meet the company’s criteria, given limited bandwidth • Follow the company’s sales process • Develop a mastery of the company’s products and ways of communicating Experience • 8_12 years of direct outbound sales experience • Clear track record of new account development without lead generation or marketing support • Prior experience selling to marketing departments • Prior experience selling Fortune 1000 companies • Prior experience in an entrepreneurial company; must be able to adjust to frequent change and work with limited resources • General knowledge and understanding of marketing preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Prior experience selling a product or service that is brand new to the buyer, preferred • Successful selling via phone/webinar and in_person in past experiences • Must be hands_on, hungry and self_motivated • Great listening and empathy skills Base salary to $125k + commission
