Executive Job Description | RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Senior Online Sales Executive you will be a member of the advertising team. Our Client is looking for someone who has existing relationships with key clients while successfully prospecting, qualifying and generating new business. The candidate will develop and cultivate deep relationships at the SVP, VP and CMO levels of Fortune 500 companies and ad agencies and should have a strong client and agency rolodex.
Areas of responsibility include working with major accounts and their advertising agencies, articulating the overall business objectives and value proposition to the advertising community, and closing strategic advertising deals on the clients website as well as some advertising opportunities at their parent company.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of outside media sales experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in online ad sales experience at a major Web property. This is a new field sales position with established accounts.
EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of media sales experience 3+ years of online ad sales experience Proven track record of driving revenue through the development of long-term relationships with clients and agencies Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery Ability to convert national TV and offline advertising dollars to online Experience with traditional market research tools, including Nielsen @plan and NetRatings is important. Bachelor's Degree required Current online advertising sales experience in the Midwest
COMPENSATION: Base $100,000 range Commission $100-$150,000 plus Comprehensive benefits package
