REGIONAL SALES MANAGER(S) Three (3) positions located in: Chicago, Philidelphia and Atlanta

THE POSITION(S):
In these positions, based in Chicago or Philadelphia or Atlanta, you will be a key contributor to the firm’s growth. You will be responsible for sales to food and beverage companies throughout your Region. The focus on these positions will be new business development. As such, you will be accountable for identifying good prospects and working with those prospects to obtain a commitment to move their needs to the firm. After signing the prospect, you will also be responsible for:
1.) maintaining the firm’s relationship with the client 2.) facilitating the equipment conversion process 3.) subsequent efforts to increase the company’s market share with that client.
You will report to the Vice President of Sales based in the firm’s Philadelphia, PA corporate headquarters.
You will also:
-- Coordinate and lead demonstrations of the firm’s proprietary packaging technology. -- Manage the end-to-end sales process. -- Negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. -- Manage client relationships by troubleshooting and resolving issues. -- Keep abreast of the packaging industry and the competitive landscape. -- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
As the successful candidate you must possess:
-- A Bachelor’s degree. -- YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY. -- 5-10 years (or more) experience in the sales of consumer products or equipment supporting the food and beverage industries. -- A demonstrated track record of generating new business opportunities and a proven history of meeting or exceeding your sales quota; -- The ability to ask probing questions, understand client goals and objectives, business issues and problems. -- The ability to write clear, concise communications that demonstrate consultative selling skills. -- Knowledge of the latest trends in the packaging or food/beverage industries, an awareness of the competitive landscape, and expert knowledge of related sales strategies.
