Executive Job Description | A world class steel company is seeking a National Sales Manager for their midwest location.
National Sales Manager provides overall review of sales quoting activities, provides direct interface with House Account customers, and manages various customer service issues either directly or through oversight. The position reports directly to the President.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ** Produces sales quotes for customer orders. Gathers and reviews historical pricing information, customer blueprints, metallurgical specifications, customer requirements, etc. ** Reviews sales quotes prepared by Inside Sales, prior to release to customer. May review and approve customer credit. ** Provides direct interface, via phone and in person, with all House Account customers. Through this communication, will generate sales orders for quoting, and will manage all quoting activity for House Accounts. ** Responsible for responding to customer service issues, including topics related to pricing, quality, delivery, etc. Will develop action plans, interface with customers, and generate correspondence. ** Perform quoting and related Inside Sales activities as needed.
