QUALIFICATIONS: Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States Green Card / Work Visa The Ideal Candidate 7+ to 10 years of experience Minimum Education - Master's Degree 8 years work experience in mobile technology At least 5 years in a marketing role at a supplier supporting mobile handset market segments Alternatively, at least 5 years of product / program management in mobile handset platforms BS degree in electrical or computer engineering MSEE / MBA
CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Mobile Market Manager position is primarily responsible for setting the direction and driving design wins leading to increased revenue in mobile handset market segments.
The Mobile Market Manager role emphasizes the activities of technology solution development beginning with market segmentation, major trends, detailed market analysis, competitive analysis, and the formulation of companys business case with value proposition. Working with technical teams, suppliers, customers and mobile operators the Market Segment Manager will drive solution definition and assist in setting the direction for future technology development. The results of these activities should spawn new product development requirements, the packaging and of existing products and services into higher level offerings, sales tools, and market strategies for all of companys products and services into the mobile handset vendors.
You will be required to execute effectively in market segments that are currently supported by a multi-regional team of marketing, sales, and solution architects. Coordinating activities with cross-functional teams involved in account penetration planning will be required skill for this position. Significant travel to lead customers will be required to assist the regional teams in driving design wins.
