Executive Job Description | HEAD OF TELCOM
Our client, a multi-billion dollar international systems consulting firm, is seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
• Proven executive-level Business Development experience (15+ years) specific to the consulting/outsourcing with 5+ years of Telecom specialization (selling TO Carriers, etc.). Individuals with large carriers selling to businesses are not appropriate for this role. • Contacts with C-Level executives in Telecom. • Positive attitude, desire to succeed, and self-motivation • Deep understanding of trends, challenges and solutions for the industry. • Skills in Strategic Analysis, Business Requirements Definition, and ROI Justification experience • Experience in selling large multi-tower long-term solution deals • Experience with Offshore, multi-site projects, turn-key assignments preferred • Exceptional presentation skills and experience with public speaking engagements • Excellent writing skills and extensive proposal development experience • Excellent relationship building skills and extensive client interaction experience • Ability to direct business development initiatives • Proven record of accomplishments with a substantial personal quota handling large contracts and the ability to supervise 8-12 individuals, each handling multi-million dollar quotas. • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • MBA highly desirable
Locations: Flexible: NJ, NY, Atlanta, Chicago preferable, but the company is flexible. Relocation assistance is provided.
Total compensation is projected to be in the $300-375k range.
