Executive Job Description | Head of Sales - Energy & Utilities
Our client is one of the world's leading information technology consulting and outsourcing services organizations.
Reports to: President US/EVP North American Sales
Entrepreneurial, energetic leader with demonstrated ability to build and manage teams of people focused in the telecommunications industry. Conceptual thinker with capability to implement and launch ideas, products and services and turn them into revenue-generating profit centers.
Seeking an Executive in Business Development with over 15 years of experience in the Energy & Utilities sector selling Commercial & Outsourcing services and managing a national business development team focused on closing new logo accounts.
Oversee the negotiation of multimillion contracts with Energy & Utilities "Tier-1" Companies. This vertical includes all aspects of Oil & Gas, Power, Wind, and Water.
Responsibilities:
• Extensive experience in business development and strategic planning with emerging technologies within E&U. • Demonstrated success building business models in the E&U industries • Excellent negotiation, Leadership/Management and presentation skills • Strong Relationships and references in the industry for demand creation and large opportunity pursuits • Relationships with Outsourcing Advisory and Market Analyst firms • Ability to lead and close large multi-MN multi-year pursuits • Create Lead Generation Programs - Manage & work with sales team on key pipeline new & existing accounts. • Maintain Budget and oversee Business Development Management team of 8-12 people. • Responsible for Business Unit forecasting. • Hire and supervise Sales and Business Development Teams • Devise alliance strategy and conduct due diligence on potential partners/new business for major customer base expanding solutions offering
