Executive Job Description | Director of Sales/Marketing and Business Development Recruiting Resources Phone: 570-647-0414 ________________________________________ Location: Pittsburgh, PA Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Must have Prior Experience with Business Development in Gas/Oil Leasing JOB SUMMARY: Develop and direct My Clients overall Marketing Strategy and Corporate Communications. Facilitate client development through marketing and client service programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Generate business for Client by developing and maintaining relationships with key customer decision makers Provide input and data based on changing market conditions to positively effect marketing strategy Prepare written reports, cost benefit analysis, solution-oriented presentations, and competitive sales and price quotations Create, price and submit bids and RFPs for customers as requested including accurate costing and profit maximization Conduct intelligence gathering on all current and potential customers and competitors for all lines of business OBs Develop, demonstrate and deliver value cases for different levels of customers Ensure systematic delivery and resolution of customer inquiries and information gathered about customer satisfaction to the appropriate personnel/department Stay well informed of current industry trends, opportunities, products and competitive issues Attend and represent DM at sales meetings, seminars, trade shows and professional organizations Build/Develop Marketing Department through complete policies, systems and process implementation Lead in process to maximize equipment utilization and other product/services Design, implement and facilitate annual Marketing Plans within each DM section of business Create and administer Marketing Operations budget Organize and implement client relations including: o Client Satisfaction Surveys o Client Development Activities o Client Skills Training o Special Events Supervise firms RFP protocol process, writing proposal for new business, manage MSA demands from clients Develop and administer marketing database, which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc. Manage, analyze, and make staffing decisions to develop strong team/strong department Manage Public Relations Department Work with internal departments (Finance/Operations/HR) to develop presentations that detail new business and process protocol to CEO and Board of Directors Design and manage marketing materials for distribution Manage company website Oversee DM company branding efforts Conduct sales projections and forecasting Compose letters, memos, and take meeting notes All other duties as assigned and requested.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Bus Mgmt, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 10+ years experience Prior Energy Services and Oil and Gas Industry experience Desired expertise in Oil and gas drilling contract sales and business development Strong negotiation skills Strong relationship building skills Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Strong presentation skills Excellent communication skills Ability to function in high-pressure environment with the ability to respond well under stress.
Education, Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Bachelors Degree in Bus Mgmt, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
Computer Skills and Technology Requirements: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook).
Work Environment and Conditions: General indoor office environment Ability to consistently and repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds Able to work in excess of 40 hours in any given week when required Must be available and willing to travel on a regular basis.
