Executive Job Description | Our client is a nationwide firm that leads the industry in providing retirement help to the defined contribution marketplace. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking a candidate to create high impact marketing strategies for plan sponsors. This candidate will join their office in Boston, Massachusetts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of three sales support professionals in creating marketing materials and in assisting the sales team with pipeline growth
• Create lead generating marketing programs to boost sales with plan sponsors
• Support revenue and sales growth by designing a sales toolkit
• Work with client services and marketing to create customized marketing materials and presentations
• Work with the Product Marketing team to lead the development of product positioning within the marketplace
• Analyze competition and market conditions and measure ongoing effectiveness of sales and retention programs
• Develop and conduct training with the Sales and Client Services team
Background Requirements:
• 5 – 10 years of experience within the financial services industry, preferably within marketing communications
• Prior experience managing a small team required
• Proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders with the ability to indentify and respond to market trends and customer feedback
• Excellent verbal and presentations skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while adhering to deadlines and producing quality work
• BA/BS required
