Executive Job Description
Morgan Consulting Resources, Inc. has been retained to conduct the search for a Chief Sales Officer for a southern CA healthcare based company.

About the position:

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Sales officer is responsible for maximizing the growth and retention of the Consumer Market enrollment as well as the Healthcare Payor Market (primarily large self-funded clients) revenue. Emphasis is on creating winning market strategies that will allow the company to position itself to advantage in the marketplace.

Managing a team of six sales professionals currently, the successful candidate will be a part of the Executive Team. Strong management skills and experience developing incentive programs, sales tracking and reporting as well as performance management is a must. We are seeking candidates who have worked with direct to consumer products, preferably in the health care industry. Additionally, experience selling to large self-funded groups is a must.

The ideal candidate will be:
• An entrepreneurial sales manager – needs to build and develop a sales plan and mentor/coach a sales team.
• A decision-maker – someone who thrives in a developing company, high energy, hard charging environment and has the ability to make smart, quick decisions every day.
• Someone who has experience selling/marketing directly to consumers.
• Someone who enjoys extensive travel.
