Executive Job Description | Description: We’re seeking an experienced Capture Manager. Additional emphasis for the capture role will be placed on coordinating new business pursuits across a broad spectrum of operating elements within the organization. The position requires strong coordination, relationship building, and integration skills to achieve proper synergies for effective program capture. The role of Capture Manager is a recognized and seasoned leader who has a deep understanding of how to effectively develop and manage a team responsible for winning new business. In this role, the Capture Manager will ensure that the proper resources are available to pursue a significant pipeline of opportunities. Type of experience or Skills: Strategic thinking and decision making to maximize probability of win Creative thinking on competitive positioning, price to win, win strategy, themes and discriminators Extensive experience on evaluating and recommending key teammates and partners. Determines teaming strategy to optimize value Demonstrates effective and efficient use of capture and proposal resources (B&P, IRAD, lead funds, facilities, demos, overhead) Ability to lead and mentor less experienced Capture Managers to successful captures Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have an advanced degree in either engineering or similar technical field and a minimum of 15 years of progressively more capture management responsibilities with experience on at least one major (>$200M) opportunity. Candidates should possess full knowledge of the federal procurement process as well as a strong, proven capability to apply process-driven capture approaches throughout the business capture processes. Some familiarity with the major customers (DNI, MDA, DoD) is a plus. Minimum security clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly or the ability to obtain the clearance Security Clearance Required.
