Executive Job Description | Our VAR client is seeking a Business Development Manager with a 5+ year track record of successfully selling ERP/CRM software packages to mid-market companies. Will be responsible for new accounts as well secondary responsibility for established clients, working closely with other office sales teams.. Target company revenues will be $50M to $1B in the healthcare, service, manufacturing industries, as well as state and local government. Reporting to the Managing Director, sales activities will include: networking within the business community, target list management, vertical industry selling, preparing for sales calls, creating and delivering sales presentations and direct follow-up. In addition, this individual will prepare for and participate in sales meeting and business development events, assist with marketing campaigns, and be involved in events to strengthen the company’s business partner relationships. Required for this opportunity: • Four year degree, Advanced degree(s) a plus • 5 or more years experience in solution selling of ERP/CRM solutions and software (NOT infrastructure or hardware) with Mid-Market applications preferred and Microsoft Dynamics CRM knowledge helpful. • Must have prior experience selling solutions with an average price over $100K • Ability to discuss core business processes (accounting, sales, marketing, distribution, manufacturing) required, with presentation, proposal development and writing skills. • Must have expert knowledge of the Houston area marketplace with an established network of contacts with CXO level executives • Proven record of exceeding quota
