Glimpse of Responsibilities and Abilities Telco/Broadband guru with knowledge in BSS, CRM, and/or Billing to analyze and understand existing customer architectures and provide suggested areas where Amdocs products and solutions can bring value to our customers Build, document, present and defend proposed solutions for variety of cross portfolio opportunities Work with sales engineering to build use cases for prototypes, proofs of concept and candidate architectures that demonstrate the applicability of the Amdocs portfolio to solving a variety of business problems Subject Matter Expert on development and integration technologies used by the Amdocs portfolio and our customers Consistently perform Pre-sales/Customer facing activities in order to support unit sales processes. Work with internal business owners (Product Mgmt, Amdocs CBEs, etc) on existing and ongoing issues. Provide feedback to Product and Product Development teams on the usability and functionality needs of the Amdocs Portfolio set of products. Requirements 3+ years experience in systems integration / software architecture 7+ years of experience in the Communication industry. Extremely business oriented and customer-focused with effective verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent presentation and pre-sales skills with a solid understanding of the sales process Experience and ability to become a trusted advisor to a customer Ability to acquire technical and business skills needed to integrate with and satisfy our diverse clients rapidly changing needs Possess a strong bias for action and accountability Confident and polished with a demonstrated ability make clients trust the job will get done Accessibility during off-hours due to time zone differences Desired Skills Experience of working with Tier-1 Communication or Broadband companies is advantage (e.g. ATT, Sprint, T-Mobile, Telus, Verizon, Qwest, Bell Canada, etc). Knowledge of Telco and/or Broadband market strongly desired Knowledge of CRM and Billing space strongly desired Ability/initiative to define and evolve processes to ensure continuous improvement. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred but not required
