In this role, the incumbent will provide a full range of strategic and operational support by acting as the primary point of contact for Business Intelligence function. Responsibilities include: • Leading a team to identify, quantify and implement improvements within all Partnership Services areas , including Information Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and Legal. • Working in close collaboration with management, proactively implementing data driven solutions to issues; and influencing the data-related aspects of the business. • Managing direct reports in a proactive, supportive and developmental manner. Complete project work as assigned in a timely, effective manner. • Playing a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-wide Business Intelligence strategy by working collaboratively with business leaders to fully understand their reporting and analytic needs. • Creating a meaningful reporting and analytics framework to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities. • Managing business forecasting process, both short- term and long-term. • Participating in process to document Business Intelligence practices and procedures while working across the organization to deliver business solutions. • Providing guidance and coaching to direct reports regarding work projects, timelines and schedules. • Seeking out opportunities to leverage new technologies and practices to enhance Business Intelligence capabilities that are consistent with the organization’s short and long term strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial, operational and systems reporting environment. • Prior experience partnering with support groups such as Information Technology or Operations is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, business management, related field or equivalent experience; MBA or CPA preferred. • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, systems and reporting. • Proven track record of providing data based solutions that drive business performance. • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple constituent groups and develop internal relationships in order to effectively carry out strategy. Strong internal customer service skills and orientation is required. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in the written form. • Ability to negotiate and compromise, yet able to drive tasks to meaningful conclusion. • Comprehensive knowledge of systems from a user perspective and ability to understand, interpret and summarize large pools of data and their business use required. • Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver high-quality end products in a complex environment. • Ability to bridge the technical world of data warehousing with the needs of the business by acting as an internal consultant to help answer challenging questions using the BI team’s data expertise • Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
