Executive Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:

• Exploit expertise in research methodology and quantitative analysis to develop new solutions to accomplish Company's product objectives in POS and consumer businesses globally. Redesign of calibration techniques, trend management, panelist fatigue adjustment, market-based POS projections. Develop new solutions to current problems. Represent and defend Company's methodologies with global clients as needed.

• Manage questionnaire development (tracking studies and ad hoc studies as requested) so that all fielded questionnaires conform to Company's research standards and achieve agreed business objectives with no data recall due to questionnaire design failure.

• Review and approve panel management policies as they relate to end-use data quality. This includes incentive systems, retention programs, recruitment and communication programs, and sampling methodologies.

• Ensure state-of-the-art solutions are in place where needed most.

• Drive the research on protocol for methodologies and processes and codify that learning into formal published protocols. Drive the use of those protocols throughout the organization.

• Manage, coach and develop team, and contribute to the workforce planning and salary planning process for team.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in advanced market research and statistical methods. Significant experience applying these skills to solve business problems.
• Nationally respected, well-connected researcher with experience in a research supplier company, concentration on methodology or research design.
• Highly proficient in probability, statistics and multivariate methods.
• SAS skills
• Experience in volume / sales estimation techniques including sales tracking or forecasting
• A strategic thinker capable of planning over a multi-year horizon. Able to generate/support creative ideas, visualize possibilities and effectively sell those ideas.
• Superior communication and social skills for both internal and external audiences.
• Proven ability to work across teams, cultures and national borders
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team
• Some international travel occasionally required
• PhD. or Advanced Degree with work experience with an emphasis on Social Sciences, Math, Physics, or Statistics preferred.
