Executive Job Description | newly created Marketing Vice President position .Our client, a nationally recognized provider of A+ rated Insurance coverage for Specialty Property & Casualty insurance is in a highly desirable suburban Greater NYC location. The incumbent will build and lead the marketing effort, direct the tactical direction, market & competitive analysis and distribution strategies.The incumbent will drive the tactical direction of the marketing plan including strategic planning, corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection, penetration plans and brand management. Define the appropriate marketing organization for the company’s maturity/size. In addition, he/she will oversee marketing communication, analysis, assessment, and website design and development; manage product marketing, sales training & tools and producer support/selection. Working closely with business segment managers the incumbent will define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and cross selling. Additionally, the incumbent is accountable for the strategic business planning designed to increase the presence of business unit products in the market and retain the appropriate mix of business. Develop and manage the company’s marketing budget, develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities. Ten plus years experience in marketing with good working knowledge of current competitive market conditions within the Property and Casualty independent producer distribution system, underwriting and tactical marketing execution.
° Ability to analyze preferred markets and producers for profitable opportunities.
° Capability to interpret and communicate industry change and its effect on strategic underwriting, pricing and marketing decisions.
° Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing and competitive business strategy.
° Aptitude to create the strategic direction of developing strong website user experiences, preferably in an insurance/financial services environment.
° Creative thinker, problem-solver who can keep the big picture/long term vision in mind while implementing day-to-day detail.
° Proven analytical and metrics driven capability.
° Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
° Capacity to assume additional executive responsibilities over time.
° A bachelor degree with advanced course work or industry designation preferred.
COMPENSATION Base salary in the $200,000 range, + Bonus + other excellent benefits . REPORTS TO: PRESIDENT LOCATION: Suburban Greater NYC
