World Vision, the largest global Christian humanitarian organization, has a need for a Vice President of their Internal Creative Agency. You will be responsible to lead and direct the development and implementation of World Vision’s communication and creative strategies to enable World Vision to connect Americans to the poor across the world in ways that will change their hearts. To accomplish this you will need a firm understanding of managing a full service ad agency, media and how to implement forward-thinking brand strategies to enhance marketability.
Core Responsibilities: • Direct Media Relations and Public Relations teams focused on increasing World Vision’s brand recognition, develop strategic relationships, and ensure a positive coverage. • Direct a full service internal advertising and creative group that spans video, audio, print, new media channels. • Direct WV’s publications which seek to present WVUS ministry to their donors and the general public. • Drive WV’s branding strategies to increase name awareness in both the Christian and secular markets. Fully utilize multiple media channels.
Requirements/Qualifications – Let’s Talk About You… • High integrity/Low ego. Really. • A performance driven self starter with a heart for the poor. We’re looking for a strategic, servant leader with experience successfully leading a broad array of professionals toward a common goal. • International experience, particularly in developing countries, a definite plus • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Team oriented, collegial and collaborative in providing communication direction and executing brand strategies. • 4 year degree in Communications, Marketing or related field is important. • A minimum of 8-10 years experience • Occasional international travel • Based at headquarters in Federal Way, Washington (Seattle area) • Ready to take your years of experience, being the best at what you do, and using it to change the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable children.
