Description:
Consumer Products firm is looking for a market research professional with strong household panel & analytics research background. The ideal candidate will have corporate and supplier side experience. Research data experience with IRI or Nielsen is a must. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in expanding the scope of reports and analyses provided to Marketing, Sales and Senior Management. This person will not only be required to develop short-term and long-term research plans for Marketing, but will also be a key participant in developing analyses and projects that evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities. Leadership skills and highly developed analytic/ project management skills will be essential given the need to execute assignments independently with minimal management supervision.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Marketing groups in developing IRI projects, including: Category Reviews, Segment Analyses, Competitive Assessments, Household Panel Reports, Pricing/ Promotion Studies, etc.
Develop and lead major analytic projects including, Household Panel, Market Response Modeling, Price Elasticity, Custom Household Panel analysis, and Forecasting/ Inventory Analysis.
Identifying and developing relationships with key research suppliers.
Work closely with the AVP, CMI, in developing decision support tools and advanced analyses for Marketing.
Design and Manage key project Requirements, Objectives, Timelines and final Deliverables.
Responsible for managing the maintenance and evolution of syndicated database structures and processes with IRI.
Co-Manage IRI client service and IRI household panel teams.
Requirements:
Minimal 7+ years of related experience – Corporate/client side, or supplier.
Experience in Designing and Maintaining IRI / Nielsen databases
Experience with designing, executing and successfully delivering IRI or Nielsen household panel analyses.
Syndicated data knowledge (IRI preferred)
Strong Project Management skills
Excel is essential, SPSS or SAS is also preferred.
