Executive Job Description | Our client is a well-known investment management firm that specializes in multiple investment strategies including distressed debt, private equity, real estate and high yield bonds. Due to continued growth and success, the firm is seeking an experienced RFP Writer to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with other departments within the firm including portfolio management, reporting, analysis, client services, marketing, operations and sales to create customized answers to RFP’s, RFI’s and questionnaires from clients and consultants
• Update and maintain RFP and consultant databases and ensure that all information is accurate and consistent with company brand
• Create RFP tracking reports for management as needed
• Participate in establishing and improving RFP processes
• Update client presentations and reports
• Answer ad hoc requests
Background Requirements:
• 2 – 5 years of experience within the financial services or asset management industry
• Prior experience answering and editing RFP’s and RFI’s for an asset management firm
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create thoughtful and compelling commentary
• Strong work ethic with a passion for improving systems and processes
• Knowledge of alternative investments or traditional asset management products and services as well was industry lingo is strongly desired
• Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
• BA/BS required
