Executive Job Description | Our client is a worldwide prestigious asset management firm that has been in business over sixty years. Due to their continued growth and success, they are looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead their RFP efforts in the Americas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organize the flow of client and prospect inquiry requests
• Manage the proposal process from start to finish including coordinating the response processes for RFP’s, RFI’s, DDQ’s and ad hoc requests
• Work with sales, client service and investment professionals to understand client needs and to create customized RFP responses that highlight the firm’s strategic and competitive advantages and express them to maximum impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Subject Matter experts throughout the organization
• Craft detailed, in-depth proposals for multi-strategy mandates
• Interact with other RFP writers globally to update the content in the RFP database
• Develop and maintain a RFP policy and training manual
• Track the progress of RFP’s including win and through rations and develop monthly and quarterly RFP metrics reports with the Head of Marketing for the Americas
Background Requirements:
• 7 – 10 years of experience within the asset management industry, preferably within marketing communications
• Must have experience answering RFP’s, RFI’s and DDQ’s for an asset management firm
• Strong understanding of institutional investment products and services including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects at once while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
• Outstanding skills in organization, prioritization and time management
• Experience with RFP Software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• BA/BS required
