Executive Job Description	Marketing Manager for a $300 million division of a multi-billion publicly traded corporation. The position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will manage a staff of 3 to 4 professionals. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, launching new products,marketing and advertising promotion planning, market research and the recruitment and development of staff. The person will also manage a $3 million budget with a focus on investment/payback. The position will be based at the corporate headquarters of this division in a Detroit suburb. The cleint prefers not to have to relocate someone for this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related business field of study. He/she will have 7 to 10 plus years of marketing experience with several of these years in a management role. The selected candidate will also have had 2 to 3 years of field sales experience prior to moving into a marketing role. The compensation package for this position consists of a base salary and bonus opportunity in the six figures plus a very attractive benefits program.
