Executive Job Description
The Manager of Market Research is responsible along with the Sr. Manager Market Research for providing strategic insights and recommendations based on the procurement and analysis of information for key client brands. These recommendations frequently have a significant and direct impact on the division’s ability to successfully meet its volume and profit goals. The Associate Market Research Manager will satisfy information needs on their respective businesses by engaging in information gathering/analysis efforts and by working closely with numerous internal departments, Ad Agencies and outside research vendors.


Responsibilities
Provide research-based guidance on key strategic and tactical issues, including consumer target identification, advertising strategy and execution, and new product development for key brands.
Manage the information gathering and analytic processes for assigned key brands.
Maximize return on investment for information gathering activities.
This position will support the Phillips’ and Midol businesses.
Help to manage the application of syndicated sales data (IRI) to addressing information needs for assigned key brands.

Qualifications
BA/BS Degree is required.
7 plus years of progressively responsible experience in Market Research with the following specific experience:
7 plus years of hands-on primary market research experience.
4 years on the client side with prior background on the supplier and/or Ad Agency side.
Familiarity with Syndicated sales data (IRI, AC Nielsen/IMS) is required.
Strong knowledge of Research design and statistics is required.
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects is key in this role.
Must be highly analytical, possess strong interpersonal skills including influencing and teamwork skills.
Must possess exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills are vital in this position
