Executive Job Description | Manager, Email Marketing
Location: Houston or Austin, TX
Our client is the leader in Business Service Management.
Campaign planning and strategy
Work with campaign strategists to determine goals, target segments, campaign flow, offers, creative requirements and metrics requirements
Advise on best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing, projected results
Demonstrate a passion for testing new approaches and trends in the changing world of email/web delivery, reviewing results and performance, and adjusting for future campaigns
Work with Marketing Operations to assist with translating business requirements into technical requirements
Build communication strategies and campaigns to support data quality efforts and opt-in strategies, maximizing reach and gathering of relevant customer/prospect data
Campaign Development and Execution
Manage the team of Eloqua users
Set up all campaign elements within Eloqua system, including email creative, list selection, landing pages and web forms
Building email/landing page and web form templates in the system
Manage the creative development process working with staff copy-writers
Set up of program flow for single-wave, multi-wave, and nurturing campaigns
Testing of lead flow, creative, and deliverability
Understanding of segmentation and list building
Basic knowledge of fundamental practices regarding SPAM and data privacy
Requirements:
MUST HAVE Marketing Automation experience (Eloqua, Marketo, Aprimo)
High Tech Experience
Knowledge of IT audience, including best practices for targeting, and expected results with this audience
Strong process orientation and detail oriented with sound analytic skills
Hands-on experience working in Eloqua
Project management skills and prior experience managing campaign execution from planning through to implementation, measurement and analysis
Management experience a plus
Basic HTML skills with excellent computer/Internet skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and tools
5 -7 years experience
