Executive Job Description | Retained search for Group Head of Global Media based in company's corporate suite. He/She will control the global advertising budget and manage the agency relationship for the Worldwide Marketing Organization. They will be responsible for measuring the ROI on all marketing investments and activities by the companies B2B and B2C global agency relationships.
Major Accountabilities: •Controls the global advertising budget and manages the agency relationship for the Worldwide Marketing organization. •Maintains P & L responsibility for all media management. •Manages cost control production and media expenses •Providing strategic direction to advertising, online, and media-buying agencies •Manage pre-bid meetings, identifies cost drivers, and negotiates production bids in conjunction with agency partners. •Leverage and improve agency integration and collaboration for increased value. •Increase accountability with agency partners for production stewardship. •Oversees the implementation of annual and quarterly media plans •Maintains responsibility for planning, budgeting, executing and evaluating promotions. •Establishes and manages standardized global production planning, budgeting, and briefing processes across the organization (TVC, Digital, Print). •Identifies and manages opportunities for low cost production solutions. •Defines metrics and manages dashboard for continuous improvements. •Manages team that supports disciplined management of our global agency relationships including: financial stewardship, fees, efficient management of agency resources and contractual compliance. •Cultivate direct reports with emphasis on objective setting, developmental action, planning and coaching.
Must have 15+ years experience working with ATL advertising agencies, ideally in a governance role with management of production practices which are global.
Ability to interpret financial components of brand management, including profit and loss statements, budget processes, and return on investment calculations.
Ability to interpret sensitivity analysis and related business risks
Ability to monitor and leverage key performance measures
Demonstrates understanding of the implications of financial analysis and assumptions.
