Executive Job Description | COMMERCIAL BANKING DIRECTOR COMMERCIAL BANKING POSITION DESCRIPTION
Client Overview Our client is a top 20 US Bank and part of one of the largest global banks. They are expanding their business in the USA and are seeking to add their Commercial Banking Team. The Director Commercial Banking will interface with the Executive Management Team to develop key strategies and tactics to drive awareness of the bank’s commercial capabilities and to position the bank as a trusted advisor among key clients. This position is also a member of the marketing management team responsible for cross-functional marketing decisions across the company (beyond commercial).
Director Commercial Banking Job Responsibilities •Develop annual strategic marketing plan with clear business objectives and goals tied to revenue and the P&L •Interface with executive management team to develop strategies and tactics to drive awareness •Develop and leverage tools for sales force engagement around direct marketing, sales force.com,etc. •Serve as the primary interface with the data warehouse team to develop a commercial database •Develop strategies to understand and profile clients and cross sell opportunities
Director Commercial Banking Key Qualifications The key qualifications for the Director Commercial Banking position include: •Knowledge of commercial banking products •Experience in commercial marketing •Developing pitchbooks, tombstone advertising •Developing one to one marketing strategies using database information •Have managerial experience (2-3 direct reports) •At least 10 years of marketing experience •Minimum education- Bachelors degree, Masters preferred-Business and/or Marketing •Strong communication skills •Travel required 30% •Knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel
