Executive Job Description | This individual will be responsible for leading a team of Managers to develop and deploy direct-to-consumer strategies to drive consumer engagement and behavior change among consumers. This position is a key role on the newly created Consumer Engagement team, and this individual will have a high degree of visibility within the organization. The individual will contribute strong strategic thinking to the overall strategy for Consumer Engagement and will work closely with the Consumer Engagement leader to determine ways to bring sophisticated direct-to-consumer marketing strategies to bear in this space. This individual will both lead and participate in enterprise-wide cross-functional teams in order to drive results and outcomes for Members, Clients and Shareholders. Success metrics will include: (1) the individual’s ability to drive Consumer to take action and change behavior (2) the ability to support the winning of new Clients and the retention of existing Clients; (3) the ability to generate returns for Shareholders and (4) the ability to attract, retain and motivate a high performing team.
Required Skills:
• Proven direct marketing expertise within a top tier marketing-driven organization with experience across channels (e.g., direct mail, email, telemarketing, face-to-face, direct response television, etc.). • Strong strategic thinking skills with a proven ability to develop sound strategic plans. • Superb relationship skills with proven ability to influence and persuade across the organization (with success in gaining followers across levels of the organization). • Strong driver of results with a proven ability to turn strategy into action, executing flawlessly and meeting deadlines/key milestones. • Strong people leadership experience with proven ability to attract, retain and develop talent. • Comfort with ambiguity and change. • Comfort and experience in working with key business partners who are off-site/virtual. • Commitment to work-life balance. • Expertise with PowerPoint, Excel.
