Executive Job Description | A major manufacturer of IT equipment for the Retail Banking Industry is looking for a CMO to lead their Global Marketing initiatives.
You will plan and establish global marketing strategies in line with company's mid and long term goals. You will guide local marketing action plans and oversee its implementation. You will be responsible for companywide resource allocation to achieve growth and profit targets. You will design detail action plans for improving brand positioning in the market and you will be a main decision maker in all marketing related issues.
Planning and Market Analysis 1) Establish marketing plan and management strategies through market analysis. Contribute to the achievement of companywide goals by effectively managing the role and capabilities of marketing group from the short, mid and long term perspective. 2) Continuously establish and organize marketing strategies by analyzing market trend, competition and supply chain characteristics. 3) Identify new growth products, plan and drive product launching. Evaluate and establish market positioning of company's products. 4) Establish goals and measurement metrics of the marketing group by evaluating current roles and capabilities.
Market Penetration and Establishing PR Plan 1) Plan for development of new market segment and new products. Introduce them to the market in timely fashion. 2) Through detailed analysis of macro/micro marketing environment, customers' behavior and competitors' products establish individually tailored market penetration plan by customer and market segment. 3) Set up effective PR plans that set company apart. Adjust and update the plan as needed through cost/benefit analysis.
Continuous Development of Core Marketing Functions and Capabilities 1) Identify deficiencies in core functions both inside and outside the company, improve upon them to lead the market by introducing products that sets the company apart. 2) Proactively develop marketing personnel to become future leader of company.
Managing Customers 1) Design and implement marketing plan custom tailored for each customer's needs and uniqueness. 2) Maintain close working relationship with customers. Utilize the relationship to obtain and preserve market leadership.
Also required is a bachelprs degree or equivalent MBA preferred Experience in global marketing into the Retail Banking Industry is REQUIRED
