POSITION: Division Contracts Manager – LGL#018 Manufacturing & Production

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Direct experience forming teams/creating contracts function in a robust organization. This position will serve as the Division resource for Contract review and compliance, negotiation of Division or site agreements, and participate and advise in conflict/claim resolution with customers.
The position will also have responsibility to standardize the Conveyance Systems business approach to managing agreements across the Division's plants, functions and customer base, as well as to increase contract organizational capability and expertise throughout the Division.
Specific functions include: Review Long Term Agreements (LTA's), contracts and other proposals; prepare comments/recommendations to customer terms and condition packages and provide direction and bring to closure;
Represent the Division on the Contract Administration Council and participate in forming standardized processes, strategies, and responses to our shared strategic customers, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and high ethical standards;
Negotiate contract terms (and pricing as required) that provides minimum exposure to our Aerospace division, and the sites without jeopardizing business opportunities.
Develop a proactive process to manage LYA's due to expire within one year, and ensure compliance;
Interpret and uphold knowledge of Aerospace Contract Law and Government contract requirements such as TINA, CAS;
Recommend and drive contract strategy within the Division, providing guidance to other functions as needed or requested;
Lead customer claim resolution activities engaging other functions as needed;
Effectively lead the Division contracts staff - direct and/or functional reports, as well as those that manage customer specifications, terms and conditions received in the PO process;
Champion continuous improvement efforts including sharing of best practices, utilizing all available resources within our company, and increasing capability of the organization;
