Executive Job Description
International company located southeast of Atlanta in a rural community. Looking for a seasoned HR Professional.


Chemical Manufacturing experience
Heavy labor relations and union experience
supports 700+ employees in the paper chemicals division
25 % travel - day trips + overnight
Experience with grievance & arbitration process a must
Experience with developing HR strategies


This position is located in a Middle Georgia Site, supporting several other sites throughout the US

Under the direction of the HR Business Partner, responsible for providing the full range of Human Resources supporting the Paper Chemicals division. Responsible for sound Human Resources practices in Employee Relations, assuring strict compliance with labor agreements, representing the Company during arbitration hearings and grievances, managing recruiting and staffing, training, relocation, compensation, policy implementation, site medical function, EEO, legal compliance, organizational development, talent and performance management. An integral part of this position is interacting with other managers, supervisors, operators, and various other employees on a daily basis to ensure HR solutions are implemented and deliverable results are achieved. Most work is done via established relationships, which is essential in analyzing and resolving department, site and cross site issues. Tact and diplomacy in this role are essential.


-BS in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent degree
-Expertise in the effective administration of labor agreements
-Minimum of ten years of labor relations, including multi-site and union experience acting as advocate in arbitrations, is required.
-Travel required minimum of 25%
-Experience in Organizational Development preferrable
-In depth knowledge of HR management including compensation, affirmative action and personnel policies and procedures are required.
-Working knowledge of manufacturing operations
-Prior Project Management support
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem solving abilities are critical.

20% bonus target
Base Salary Salary is in the 120-13000 range
