Executive Job Description	Board Certified Cardiologist 3+ yrs in-depth experience in the area for which he /she will be a Study Medical Expert be the point of contact and responsibility for all medical aspects of a trial within the study team, in order to ensure patient safety, quality of medical data, and the best possible drug development Hold a degree of Medical Doctor; preferred board certified specialist with 3+ yrs in-depth experience in the area for which he /she will be a Study Medical Expert • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken • Be familiar with the regulatory and legal environment • Be a team player • Be sensitive to different global cultures/needs • Be a good communicator for both scientific discussions and training needs Helps/ guides the country medical contact people in their study-specific local tasks c) Keeps updated medical FAQ lists for the study 5. Source of expert knowledge in the Therapeutic area/ pathology a) Keeps up to date with scientific progress/ literature in the area b) Supports the participating countries in their needs of medical knowledge, e.g. through training/presentations to top KOLs etc. c) Participates in important local/regional/global advisory boards d) May help prepare/ negotiate Health Authority Approvals and reimbursement Work interactions Mainly with the Study Manager and study team, the Global Clinical Leader (or MA-Responsible),, the Principal Investigator/ Steering Committee of the trial and the global scientific community in the indication/TA.
