Executive Job Description	EXECUTIVE OFFICE SERVICES Human Resources Consultants POSITION: Vice President, Marketing - Telecom - BUS#432 Telecommunications Services Sales / Marketing - Marketing Management LOCATION: New York No Relocations Expense Provided QUALIFICATIONS: Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States Green Card / Work Visa At least 15 years experience running a broad Marketing function within the telecom. services or equipment space with at least 5 years in a senior management role Bachelor's degree with an MBA preferabl.e Significant experience managing a Market organization of at least 20 people. Strong experience with measurable/visible success in developing Marketing. Communications programs for a company of comparable size including the use of social media A deep understanding of next gen technologies and services including Ethernet/IP, Optical and Fiber-based services. The successful candidate must have had direct experience building, managing and marketing such services to enterprise customers. Keen understanding of the data center environment and its value proposition for enterprises - also, an understanding of cloud services and its impact to enterprise networking. Strong financial skills in developing cost and return models for shared products, directing and presenting business cases for investments and collaborating with Finance on return analysis. CAREER OPPORTUNITY: The Vice President of Marketing is a key new leadership role which aims to bring together all existing Marketing functions that are dispersed among current organizations as well as build some new capabilities that will be crucial for the continued growth trajectory of the company. This role will essentially be responsible for driving demand for the company's services and for positioning the company as a market leader in providing data transport connectivity for enterprise & carrier customers. This role will also have a significant strategic component which includes understanding the market for our services and industry trends as well as directing the investments the company should make to further its position. Given its importance, this role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer of the company and provides an opportunity for the right candidate to make a very significant and visible impact to the company's growth.
