Executive Job Description	International Paper has an immediate need for a Quality Manager in Indianapolis, IN. Relocation assistance available, but must come from related industry (folding carton, paper, commercial printing, etc) Overview: * Provides direct supervision over the facilities quality organization (supervisor, coordinator and technicians), process improvement engineer (and part-time Six Sigma Black Belts), and industrial engineer(s). * Provides indirect supervision to maintenance organization (maintenance manager and technicians) and EHS manager. * Position has dotted line accountability to CPB Quality Manager. * Responsible for leading and implementing annual capital budget averaging $5 million per year. * Responsible for the quality and process capability of a $65 million (revenue) facility with a capital employed exceeding $30 million. * Has frequent contact with external vendors, IP and Shorewood technical managers, Shorewood sales personnel). *Will have 3 direct reports, 1 Supervisor and 2 Quality Coordinators *Travel = approximately 15% Position Requirements: - ASCQE Certification is a must - Bachelors Degree preferable in Engineering, Science, Math or Printing or Packaging. - Manufacturing base with 5 years experience. - 3 years direct supervisory experience over salaried and hourly personnel - Promotable to Operational Manager in 2-3 years. - Working knowledge of quality management systems minimally including TQM, ISO 9000, Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing and demonstrated experience/training managing equipment reliability initiatives - Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCad etc). - Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills Quallified/interested candidates should submit the most recent/updated copy of their resume as a word doc attachment to: mike.fleming@rightthinginc.com To expedite processing, please also send cover letter detailing why, personally, you feel as though you would be a good fit based on the job description.
