Executive Job Description | The President of this segment will be responsible for building the overall retail services division for the U.S. electric vehicle market. It is envisioned that this division will eventually be spun-off into a majority-owned subsidiary that is jointly-owned with other key value-chain partners. This role will have P&L responsibility and will create and execute the long-term strategy to grow the market and infrastructure opportunity and create shareholder value.
Reports To: President & CEO Location: Open - Travel in US.
Position Responsibilities: 1 Create, develop and establish a new market infrastructure in the Electric Vehicle industry and tying infrastructure elements together with the technology, services and policies needed to power electric transportation. 2 Direct the effort to speed up the adoption of a broad-based Electric powered transportation ecosystem. 3 Leads the development and implementation of the strategy and business plan. 4 Ensures proper financial analysis to produce a favorable return on investment to company. 5 Working with SVP, Strategy & Financial Structure raises external capital/equity. 6 Develops critical partnerships in the electric vehicle value chain including potential joint owners of the business. 7 Recruits, hires, develops, and retains the functional talent to execute the strategy. 8 Communicates the vision of the business to internal and external stakeholders including employees, customers, partners, investors, regulators, legislators, and the general public. 9 Creates opportunities in adjacent segments of the electric vehicle value chain. 10 Working with the EVP, Strategy identifies and executes M&A activity to drive industry and business value growth. 11 Develops distribution channels. 12 Shapes standards, policies, and market design to enable the growth of a high-opportunity electric vehicle eco-system.
Qualifications:
1 Ten years proven entrepreneurial success in launching opportunities within a technology-driven evolving industry. 2 Experience as a technology market system Innovator; developing and establishing a market infrastructure for a new technology 3 Experience in a systemic transformation tying existing infrastructure together with technology, services and policies. 4 Market Innovator; 5 experienced in developing a services market infrastructure such as in the telecom market, WIFI market, mobile phone market, telecom hardware market, etc. 6 Experience building a market framework for new technology. 7 Bachelors degree. MBA preferred. 8 Successful track record in raising capital. 9 Relationship-oriented with the ability to understand the needs of various customer segments and to foster close working relationships with partners and customers. 10 Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines. 11 Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate and persuade verbally, written, and interpersonally on multiple levels of individuals both internal and external to the organization. 12 Understanding of Technology Service based businesses 13 Business growth and leadership experience with technology companies over $500M in revenue or multiple entrepreneurial successes with technology companies over $50M in revenue. 14 Proven experience looking for unmet needs in a technology industry and striving to own that space? 15 You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
